Time for some totally random bits of XXCishness going on at XXC HQ and around the globe.

First- The Trans-Sylvania Epic Race is one of the premiere events on the east coast this year, if not THE premiere event with Big Bear in the tank! If you missed the preview of the race in XXC #6 you can check it out for FREE right here!

Speaking of Big Bear and all of it's in the tankness.... As mentioned here on the blog a couple weeks ago the Big Bear 4x24 race will be going down on the fine trails of Big Bear that weekend. Registration details are still coming in. Stay tuned to XXCMAG.COM and to iPlayoutside.com for more information.

Also keep an eye on the 24 Hours of Creek To Peak, ALSO taking place in West Virginia on June 12. One race goes away and two more in the same state pop up. Gotta love that! Not to mention the folks from the Cheese & Beer State are not one to roll over and die after their 24 was tanked via GG- The 24 Hours of Nine Mile is gone, but The Wausau 24 is here!! There is only about a week left in the XXC eMag's Downloads for U23s Program. That is to say that up until April 1st 2010, $1.00 from every digital download will benefit the NICA’s Texas High School Mountain Bike Racing League and the Mid Atlantic region’s Fast Forward Developmental Team.

As of now we have close to $90 to donate to these fine programs that get high school kids and juniors hooked on the the crack that IS mountain bike racing. SO giddy up before April 1 if you want to do your part to get a kid hooked on the good stuff. PURCHASE HERE!

Lastly, XXC #7 is already in the works with two stories pretty much done. XXC #7 will once again prove how small the world is now and how if you put a big ass race anywhere on earth, SOMEONE will show up and race it. Also happy to say there are some more changes coming to XXC for the next issue and it's all good baby!
