The much anticipated film about the longest mountain bike race on earth is ready for release. The film was shot in 2008 and recounts three Divide Racers experiences with Rocky Mountain beauty and small-town culture as they attempt to pedal from Banff, Canada, to a small, dusty crossing on the Mexican border.

Ride The Divide just won Best Adventure Film at the Vail Film Festival and will be screening at the Newport Beach Film Festival April 29th. Here is an interview from the fest at plumtv.com.

You know how Star Wars geeks get all dressed up in costume to go to the theater to see the movies when they are released. I would totally do that for this movies. Except I'd show up with a fully loaded mountain bike and NOT in a Emperor Palpatine costume. Just sayin', I'm pretty excited to see this movie and am a total geek about it.
