24 Hours of Exposure Preview (In Hindsight)
Back on May 22nd, the UK had its first ever 24 Hour Solo Championships- The 24 Hours of Exposure put on by SIP Events. The Open Men's race was won by Matt Page (Wiggle/Focus) followed by XXC #7 contributor Ant White (Exposure/Skins/KCNC) in 2nd and Josh Ibbett (Syncros Endurance) in 3rd. Josh Ibbett will share his experience at this inaugural race in the next issue of XXC Magazine due out in late July.
In the Open Women's race Rickie Cotter (WXC Mountain Bike Team UK) took the top podium spot with Nicola MacLeod (Adidas Terrex) in 2nd and Jane Chadwick (Chevin Cyclels/Bank & Olufsen) in 3rd.

To get a look at what the 24 Hours of Exposure was like (beyond the facts- 24 hours, race, solo, etc., check out this cool preview film that Reset Films did to promote the race. Obviously this is all sort of hindsight now that the race is over.... but it's still cool! Just the chance to see the landscape and trails of the Scottish Borders is worth the look.
I think it's cool to see a growing number of promoters using the quality short films to promote their race and show folks what they can expect to experience at the race. Also check around the Reset Films UK site. There are a number of really cool cycling films to check out.
Look for more on the 24 Hours of Exposure in July from XXC Magazine!
